As part of our next phase of product innovation and platform development, we are seeking a Software Engineer with a focus on R&D and AI to contribute to the design and implementation of next-generation features across our platform ecosystem. This is a hands-on role ideal for an engineer with strong software architecture foundations and a genuine passion for experimenting with intelligent systems. 


Salary: Commensurate with experience

Location: Hybrid / Flexible — Perth or Bangkok

AI Literacy Requirement 

All candidates must demonstrate comfort and practical experience working with AI tools and productivity platforms. This includes — but is not limited to — large language models such as Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), and ChatGPT (OpenAI), as well as AI-assisted workflows for research, content drafting, data analysis, and process automation. Aspire Digital Group operates in an AI-first environment and expects all team members to embrace and leverage these tools as part of their daily work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and engineering leads to develop intelligent features for Zinga, Alby Marketplace, and Goldroom.
  • Build and test APIs, backend logic, and automation tools within a modular, scalable architecture.
  • Contribute to the R&D roadmap and develop AI-powered tools including NLP pipelines, recommendation engines, and agentic AI systems.
  • Optimise platform performance and user experience across web and mobile interfaces.
  • Work across the full development lifecycle: concept, build, test, deploy, and iterate.
  • Engage in code reviews, testing protocols, and security compliance across all services.
  • Explore and prototype new frameworks, LLM integrations, and AI/ML models relevant to the platform’s use cases.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs for payments, CRM, logistics, and analytics as required.
  • Support platform reliability through bug tracking, documentation, and version control best practices.
  • Actively use and contribute to AI-assisted development workflows using tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or equivalent.
  • Participate in cross-functional brainstorming and technology strategy planning sessions.

Qualifications and Skills

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years’ professional software development experience. 
  • Proficiency in modern frontend and backend stacks: React, Vue, Node.js, Python/Django, Firebase, or Laravel. 
  • Practical experience with AI/ML tools, LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini), or automation frameworks. 
  • Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development environments (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) in day-to-day engineering work. 
  • Experience with version control (GitHub), DevOps pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP). 
  • Sound knowledge of data structures, secure coding practices, and RESTful API design. 
  • Creative thinker with the ability to explore new tools and contribute meaningfully to R&D initiatives. 
  • Strong debugging, testing, and documentation habits. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within agile teams.
